Google Offers on IGoogle
Google is doing some limited testing with Google Offers, which is like Groupon, only not nearly as cool... yet.
Basically, you can pan the map and new pins will appear with different "coupons" that the business shown is giving out. For the Lehigh Acres area the coupons have just been such and such percent off of a service and no actual coupons. Unlike Groupon, you don't have to buy anything yet. Hopefully Google will make this a lot neater, because if this is all they have planned, I fully expect them to fail.
Alternately, I still highly recommend Moolala, although it hasn't started getting coupons yet. It does have a nice reason to join now, and that is money. Click Moolala for more information.
Groupon OR Google
So, a few months ago, Google offered to buy Groupon, Inc. for $4,000,000,000.00 or so. Groupon said no. Google said FINE, and according to Mashable, Google is doing it's own thing.
Now, I've been watching Groupon for a little while now. They are marketing to young, educated women... which I am not. So I haven't purchased anything yet, because there is a ton of spa deals, or fancy clothes and stuff that I am not interested in.
Please @Google put something on there that would be a deal for me and people like me. How about 50% off of online purchases at Bass Pro Shop, or even Cabella's.
Also coming soon is Moolala. They have a multi-level marketing idea going on. You sign up, get people to sign up using your link and then make money from them and those under them and so on, up to 5 levels, I think. Pretty crazy and certainly a step up from Groupon which offers a one time referral bonus.
Exciting times! Follow on Twitter, Follow on Facebook.

Help Me Spend $10 at Groupon
So, I get the daily Groupon emailed to me and today I was informed that I have a special $10 off coupon for just myself. So instead of clicking each city for the best Groupon, I decided to put the widget below to work. I am in the Ft Myers / Cape Coral area, but the widget will show your city (using cookies or something I guess). Let me know if there is an awesome deal in your city to spend $10 on.
P.S. You should sign up with Groupon to get these spiffy deals!
